from scarcity to abundance: how i'm spending money on clothes

👋 I'm Rebecca. I'm an intuitive, magic, woo-woo personal style coach and consultant. I help people uncover their own personal style and wear their inner awesome. It took me a long time (40 years) to get to this career. I've tried a lot of different things but my soul has never given up on me!
I'm calling this blog the un-style guide because it's a record of my journey in uncovering and breaking my own internalized style rules. I think rules are made to be broken, especially when it comes to personal style and how we choose to clothe our bodies. I think fashion is the best art.

I'm also calling it the un-style guide and writing about unearthing internalized style blocks because I'm actually quite blocked myself - especially when it comes to personal style, fashion and my relationship with my body. That's right - I'm a style coach and consultant who hasn't a clue how to help herself. Which is partly why I'm a style coach and consultant - even though I believe we have everything we need inside of us, I also believe we need other people to help us bring it out. There's something about someone who is outside of us being able to reflect us back to ourselves - like a mirror. There's also something magic about conversation, especially when there is no judgement and just compassionate listening. Something I need to do for myself.

So, actually I thought this post was going to be about money and consuming but as I'm writing I'm realizing that actually my first rule is about listening to myself. "I have to listen to someone else's rules and style guidance" is the first rule I'm breaking.
